 GEORGE M STEINBRENNER MARCHING WARRIOR BRIGADE MARCH-A-THON Saturday, October 1st 2011 On Saturday, October 1st, the Steinbrenner Marching Warrior Brigade will hold their 2nd annual March-a-Thon. A March-a-Thon is very similar to a Walk-a-Thon. Band and guard members will spend the day marching and rehearsing in preparation for upcoming football games and marching band competitions, including the prestigious Lion’s Pride for which the Warrior Brigade were honored as Grand Champions in 2010. All funds raised are applied directly to expenses such as competition travel, new uniforms & instruments, and the many other costs incurred by a high school marching band.
